About the Forest Stewardship Council

Soar Print was the first printer in New Zealand to be certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) www.fsc.org.

Founded in 1993, the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, not-for-profit, non-government organisation promoting responsible forest management.
The FSC label represents a globally-recognised certification system of tracing, verifying and labelling timber, wood and paper products that originate from FSC-certified forests.
Paper that carries the FSC label originates from responsibly managed forests, where the interests of biodiversity, waterways, wildlife and commerce are considered.
We encourage all our customers to buy FSC paper, so that we can guarantee it comes from a sustainable forestry programme.
