New technology keeps us in frontIt has always been our policy to invest in the latest printing press technologies. Currently we run two six-colour, one five-colour and one four-colour press, plus smaller two-colour offset machines for economy runs. This line up gives us both production capacity and the ability to choose the most appropriate, cost-effective press for each job. Typical printing outputs include direct marketing materials, business cards, stationery, forms, posters and point of sale material, catalogues, brochures, publications and newsletters. We also specialise in printing on plastic. The Speedmaster XL 105 has arrived. The most advanced printing press in the world and the first in New ZealandIn the printing world, this press represents peak performance and the pinnacle of current technology. Measured against any criteria, it can outperform every other press in the country and will quickly raise the bar in terms of printing standards. Aqueous coatingIn keeping with our commitment to consistent quality, Soar Printing has invested in aqueous coating technology. Aqueous coating is a gloss or matt seal that doesn’t yellow, unlike conventional matt or gloss seals. It hardens almost instantly, allowing us to trim and finish jobs as soon as they are printed – a real advantage when you’re working to tight timeframes. Spekta screeningSoar uses Spekta, a new hybrid AM/FM screening technology that produces a sharper, brighter and more photo-realistic image. SPEKTA does a better job of bringing out the detail in midtones, flesh tones and other areas where vibrant colour is required. |
