When a supplier glitch left Auckland brand agency DNA without banners just one day away from an important client event, Soar swung into action.
In less than 24 hours, we turned around the printing of PVC hanging banners and had them in position at The Cloud on Queens Wharf. The banners were required for INAKL, a day-long International Student Experience Programme welcome event hosted by ATEED on the 12th March.
DNA account director Louisa Golding was impressed with Soar’s quick reflexes:
“Soar exceeded all expectations through the production of our ATEED print job. Peta delivered what other printing companies said was impossible, all within a 24 hour deadline.”
Initially Louisa had asked for the banners to be printed double sided, however Soar account manager Peta Higgins recommended printing a double quantity of single-sided banners, then binding them together to create a more substantial double-sided end result.
The banners were printed on 500gsm PVC and post-print finishing included hemming and insertion of aluminium poles into the sleeves formed by the hems. After collection from Soar at 6am, the banners were up and hanging at The Cloud by 7am on the day of the INAKL event.
“For many students this was the first time that they would come in contact with the INAKL brand. Our vision was to create a high impact context for the INAKL brand through large format banners that showcased both the newly developed logo and the brand colour palette. The ceiling and stage banners not only looked bold and eye-catching, but also helped create a strong sense of brand awareness and recognition”, said Louisa Golding.
