If you’ve visited Soar recently, you’ll notice that our front entrance is going all out to make a great first impression.
Using our new HP Latex 360, a press for large format digital printing, we printed our brand imagery on perforated Crystalvision POS 70/30 and applied it to the glass of our front entrance. It’s a great way to use glass areas as an advertising medium.
In case you’re wondering about the numbers, 70/30 means that 30% of the substrate is punched holes – you can see out from the inside, but you can’t see in from the outside.
To prevent dust build-up in the perforations, we finished the job with Avery DOL 4000 crystal clear cast overlaminate. It’s optically clear and does a great job of protecting the vinyl from UV and dirt.
Crystalvision printed by Soar has also solved a problem for Kitchen Things. Previously this wall of the store was an eyesore from the outside – you could see shelving, fixings and products stacked against the glass. By installing branded Crystalvision over the entire glass wall, the store gets an attractive outdoor advertising banner and people on the inside can still see out - they don’t feel like they’re inside a box.
