Whether you’re a multi-national corporation or a one-person home business, Soar delivers a customer experience that’s right for you. For regular clients, it’s our aim to personalise service according to your preferences.

If you like the brevity and efficiency of phone calls and/or email, that’s how we’ll run your show. If you’re a handshake-and-meeting kind of person, you’ll get the face to face attention you prefer. And if you want the independence of online ordering with customisable templates and DAM (digital asset management), we can set you up with your own digital print management website to manage your digital printing and offset printing needs.

Soar Print has a team of ‘on demand’ customer service reps who are always ready to help. Walk in off the street or pick up the phone and you’ll get the attention of someone who knows print inside out.

Account managers

Customers who put a significant amount of business through Soar every year receive the expert attention of a dedicated account manager.  It means you’ll have one ‘go to’ person to contact when you want to get a quote, place an order or ask a question. As time goes by your account manager will gather knowledge about your business and how you work, which leads to proactive service that anticipates your needs and adds value at every opportunity. Your account manager will provide service the way you like it - in person or by email, phone or txt message.

Andrew Light
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Andrew started his printing career with a photolithography apprenticeship; he then went on to complete a trade certificate at Comprint. After a number of industry roles, including production manager at an advertising agency, Andrew took his skills overseas. On his return, he joined Soar and has been a key member of our sales team for more than 18 years.

Stefan Berthoud
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Stefan Berthoud completed his printing training in Switzerland, a country known for precision and accuracy, gaining qualifications in Prepress, Offset and Gravure printing. He has augmented his experience with time spent running large sheet and web presses both here and in Europe. Various management roles have helped Stefan to gain excellent customer service skills, which he puts to good use as a member of our account management team.

David Armstrong
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

David joined Soar in 2016, armed with an impressive amount of print industry expertise and experience. His career began with a lithographic printing apprenticeship with the Government Printing Office in Australia, then progressed with a range of supervisory and operational roles. In the late 1990s he moved to New Zealand, where he advanced his career with print production management, technical sales and account management roles.

James Timpson
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

James is a UK import who’s very much at home in New Zealand. He arrived at Soar in 2015 to become an account manager, but we also appreciate his vast experience with print production planning, gained with marketing and printing companies in Nottingham and London. James has two printing qualifications from South Nottingham College.

Stuart Shepherd
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Stuart arrived at Soar Print in 2016, bringing with him a special focus on the arts, publishing and digital media. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in magazine and book publishing in New Zealand and internationally, as well as a wealth of knowledge in design arts marketing Stuart pioneered many specialist magazine and design book-related business ventures in New Zealand, including Propaganda Arts Distribution and Magazzino.

Natalie Graham
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

With ten years of experience in client and account management, Natalie is an expert in building enduring professional relationships, taking client briefs,and managing project lead times. Not only a person of great integrity and strong work ethics but her eye for detail, passion for colour and print finishes ensures accuracy on all her jobs. Helping her clients understand the services best suited to their business and implanting new processes accordingly is her specialty. Natalie loves being involved in our customers businesses, understanding their challenges and determining ways that can support or influence our clients success.

Large format team

Our large format team works with state-of-the-art digital presses to produce everything from vehicle and window wraps to point of sale posters and permanent exterior signage. Read about how they printed The Great Wall of Emirates and all the exhibition signage for Gisborne’s Electric Village.  

The large format team can print widths of 1600mm and 2500mm. Lengths are limited only by the substrate roll.

Online print management & logistics team

As a Soar client you can have your very own free-of-charge print management website for ordering everyday template items, managing your print inventory, storing visual assets and much more. We call it Ebusiness. You’ll call it fantastic. Enquire about getting Ebusiness 

Soar’s warehouse and logistics team offers a complete storage and dispatch solution, as well as kit compilation and inventory control. And it’s all integrated online!

Recently Soar took print warehousing and logistics to a higher level. Not only did we expand storage capacity by 40%, we also installed the latest barcode technology, which ensures accurate picking and real-time print inventory management. Now it’s easier than ever to monitor inventory and avoid costly obsolescence.

Looking after routine business print requirements

We are the ‘virtual stationery cupboard’ for several large corporates. All their routine bulk print supplies are managed online, stored at our warehousing facility and dispatched to locations as required. Barcode identification of every item ensures administrators have a clear picture of inventory and stock runouts are avoided with pre-set alerts. Storage costs are calculated based on the space used monthly and we deliver using the lowest cost price option for each consignment.

Complete end-to-end service for marketing teams

For any kind of print campaign, Soar can now offer a fully integrated print management information system (MIS) that flows from job quotation, to job bagging and production, then into kitting and logistics. It means we can provide total support for marketing and sales teams, helping to maximise the success of their promotional initiatives.
